Unfortunately I had to be totally selfish almost to the point of rude to pull of my almost perfect weekend. Nothing makes me happier than getting accomplished the things I’ve set out to do for the weekend be it chore or event. I don’t know what it is about some people, they don’t seem to understand that. Persistence is suppose to be a good thing but I’ve been finding it quite annoying lately which is why I’m glad I made sure things went my way.

Last weekend I promised myself a bouquet of flowers and a new candle. I’m a serious candle person so my candles go quickly and it’s always a great experience to re-up on my favorites or shop for new ones. This time I picked two fragrances I haven’t had before. One totally inspired by me missing my boo. It carries a masculine scent and I figured the fragrance of “Fireside” would soothe me. The other one just smelled really good and you can’t go too wrong with anything from the Aromatherapy section.
Now that I’ve finally gotten a nice vase for my flowers I think I may keep it going by replenishing weekly. Flowers are pretty, they smell good and they make me happy. I was already eyeing the bunches that I want to get the next time. Although I did end up getting to the farmer’s market way later than I’d hoped I did enjoy myself. Maybe next weekend I’ll try to make it to a few other ones. The only thing I forgot was an ice cream cone. I forgot about that and by the time I biked it back home with my new candles I wasn’t up for leaving the house again. And of course having him present would have sealed the deal as a perfect weekend.
